Meet Dr. Alan Perry
For over 40 years, it has been my honor to give so many patients an excellent orthodontic experience in an efficient, timely manner. I’ve had the opportunity to watch hundreds of children grow up and come out of their shell as we make their smile something they want to show off. It is truly a rewarding experience. Making a difference in people’s lives and gaining their unconditional trust is something I do not take for granted.
Born and raised in Lake Charles, I graduated from Lake Charles High School in 1970. After attending McNeese State University for my undergraduate studies, I earned highest honors from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1977 and received my diploma from the orthodontic department at LSU School of Dentistry in 1979.
I am a past president of the Calcasieu Parish Dental Society and an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southwest Orthodontic Association, and the Calcasieu Parish Dental Study Club. I am also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and have been honored with numerous awards during my orthodontic career.
My wife Linda and I met in college and were married after I finished dental school. Together, we have raised three wonderful children: Jessica, Kayla, and Alex. I am an avid fisherman, traveler, hunter, and airplane pilot, and have been president of numerous local organizations, including the Kiwanis Club of South Lake Charles and the Buccaneers of Lake Charles.
